Hyundai Splash Guards
Quick and Easy Guide to Replace Splash Guards
Replacing splash guards is a simple yet highly effective way to protect your vehicle's paint and undercarriage from mud, gravel, and road debris. If you drive a Hyundai Palisade, properly installed splash guards can also improve the SUV’s durability, especially on off-road or towing adventures.
Installing New Splash Guards in Your Hyundai
1. Prepare the Wheel Area
Turn the front wheels outward or remove the wheels entirely to create ample space for splash guard installation.
2. Clean the Mounting Surface
Wipe down the inner fender area to remove dirt and ensure a smooth surface for mounting the splash guards.
3. Line Up the Splash Guard
Hold the splash guard against the fender and align it with existing holes or marks to check for fitment.
4. Use OEM Screws or Clips
Secure the guard using the provided OEM hardware, tightening screws or clips without over-torquing.
5. Check Clearance and Symmetry
Double-check that the guard sits flush with the panel and matches the opposite side in position and angle.
Once your splash guards are in place, consider boosting utility further with genuine Hyundai trailer towing accessories designed specifically for your Palisade.
