1. Open your vehicle's glove compartment; locate the pin and screw on its outer edge, remove the screw with the screwdriver and set it aside, and remove and save the pin.
2. If there's a band holding the glove compartment in place, release it.
3. Gently press both sides of the compartment to lower it; locate the cabin filter cover and housing behind, squeeze the tabs on its sides to release it, and take it out.
4. Take the filter behind that out; then, clean the filter housing (wipe it out or vacuum it), put the new cabin filter in, and snap the cover back in place.
5. Put the glove compartment back up, replacing the pin and screw (and the band, if applicable), and close the compartment.
